01Scope of this policy

This policy explains how Imprimerie des Éditions Vaudreuil inc. collects, uses, shares and keeps the personal information sent through this site, in accordance with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as amended by Law 25.

It covers the print shop's public website and its forms. The Client area, the portal reserved for our customers, has its own terms.

02Person in charge of the protection of personal information

The person in charge of the protection of personal information oversees this policy. Send them your questions, your requests for access or correction, and your complaints.

03Information we collect

We only collect the information you choose to send us through our forms (quote request, contact, holiday cards, job application):

  • your identity: your name and, where applicable, your company name and customer account number;
  • your contact details: email address and phone number;
  • the details of your project or request, and the content of your message;
  • the files you attach, or links to your files;
  • for a job application: the trade or position you're interested in and the link to your résumé.

When you send a form, your device's IP address may be used, temporarily, to block abusive submissions. Our host also processes, in its logs, the technical data needed to display the site (IP address, browser type, pages requested).

04Why we collect it

  • To answer your questions and requests;
  • to prepare a quote and, if you accept it, produce and deliver your order;
  • to process a job application;
  • to keep the site secure and prevent abusive submissions.

We do not use your information for any other purpose without your consent, and we do not sell it.

05Your consent

By ticking a form's consent box, you agree that we may use your information for the purposes described above. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to imprimerie@editionsvaudreuil.ca; withdrawal applies going forward and may prevent us from following up on your request.

06Who has access, and where it is processed

Only the members of our team who need it to handle your request have access to your information. Two providers process it on our behalf:

Vercel (United States)
hosts the site and receives the forms you send.
Resend (United States)
delivers the emails generated by the forms to our team.

Your information may therefore be shared and stored outside Quebec, where it is subject to local laws. We do not share it with any other third party, unless the law requires it or you consent to it.

07Retention and security

We keep your information for as long as needed to handle your request and meet our legal obligations, for example accounting obligations when a request leads to an order. After that, we destroy it or make it anonymous.

An unsolicited job application is kept as long as it may be useful for hiring, then destroyed. You can ask us to destroy it at any time.

Exchanges with the site are encrypted (HTTPS) and access to your information is limited to the people who need it. If a confidentiality incident presents a risk of serious injury, we notify the people concerned and the Commission d'accès à l'information, as the law requires.

08Your rights

At any time, you can:

  • ask for access to the information we hold about you;
  • have it corrected if it is inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous;
  • withdraw your consent to its use;
  • ask for it to be destroyed when it is no longer needed.

Write to imprimerie@editionsvaudreuil.ca. We reply in writing within 30 days of receiving your request.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

09Cookies and local storage

This site uses no tracking cookies, no audience analytics and no profiling technology.

Only one setting is saved, in your browser's local storage (localStorage): when you respond to the banner offering the other language, your browser remembers it so the banner is not shown again. This setting stays on your device, is never sent to us, and you can erase it by clearing the site's data in your browser.

The Client area uses the cookies needed for you to sign in, under its own terms.
